Armadillo Removal of North Houston

It’s that time of year again in Texas. A All Animal Control of North Houston is beginning to get a lot of calls from homeowners upset about their well manicured lawns and freshly mulched flower beds being torn apart by armadillos.

Armadillos dig holes in the ground looking for insects and small animals to eat. The reason they are so attracted to mulch beds is that they are able to dig for grubs much easier. Many homeowners will repair the damage caused by an armadillo the best they can, thinking it was just passing through, but soon find that the armadillo will continue to frequent the same spots, causing even more destruction.

Don’t be fooled by products claiming to repel armadillos. The only sure way of ridding yourself of an armadillo for good is by trapping it, but this is not a job for the average person. Your local Wildlife Professional has been specially trained in the safe removal and relocation of wildlife, including armadillos, specific to the North Houston area.

A All Animal Control of North Houston proudly serves Aldine, Atascocita, Barrett, Central Business District, Chateau Woods, Cloverleaf, Conroe, Crosby, Cut and Shoot, Cypress, Downtown, Greenspoint, Hillshire Village, Hidden Echo, Highlands, Hockley, Houston, Hudson, Huffman, Humble, Huntsville, Jersey Village, Katy, Kingwood, Klein, Lake Conroe, Lake Houston, Lakewood Heights, Magnolia, Montgomery, New Caney, New Waverly, North Shore, Oak Ridge North, Pinehurst, Plantersville, Porter, Sheldon, Shenandoah, Splendora, Spring, Spring Valley, The Energy Corridor, The Woodlands, Tomball, Westfield and Willis.

North Houston Snake Removal

It’s now the middle of June, and summer is coming upon us fast. For snakes, as well as humans, early summer is one of the most active times of the year, especially when it comes to the time spent outdoors at night. Snakes will often wait until nighttime to come out due to the intense heat of the day, which also happens to be the same time humans are out enjoying other summertime activities such as catching lightning bugs and telling stories by the campfire.

Snakes don’t often cross most people's minds until they are surprised by the sight of one. The good news is that most snakes are non-venomous, and only a handful of people die from venomous snake bites every year in the U.S. Rattlesnakes have the most potent venom and cause the majority of the deaths.

If you do happen to spot a snake in your house or on your property, remember that the capture of snakes is not something for the average person. Wildlife Professionals have been trained in the quick identification of snakes. Unless you are a Wildlife Professional, treat all snake species as being venomous. Keep your distance and call a wildlife professional to handle the snake in your basement or garden.

A All Animal Control of North Houston, TX is your local wildlife pest control proudly serving Aldine, Atascocita, Barrett, Central Business District, Chateau Woods, Cloverleaf, Conroe, Crosby, Cut and Shoot, Cypress, Downtown, Greenspoint, Hillshire Village, Hidden Echo, Highlands, Hockley, Houston, Hudson, Huffman, Humble, Huntsville, Jersey Village, Katy, Kingwood, Klein, Lake Conroe, Lake Houston, Lakewood Heights, Magnolia, Montgomery, New Caney, New Waverly, North Shore, Oak Ridge North, Pinehurst, Plantersville, Porter, Sheldon, Shenandoah, Splendora, Spring, Spring Valley, The Energy Corridor, The Woodlands, Tomball, Westfield and Willis.

The Masked Bandits are Coming!

One of the largest nuisance animals, raccoons live throughout the United States and Canada. They are also commonly known as coons or masked bandits. The masked bandit is for the black “mask” covering their face and their habit of stealing from pet food bowls, garbage cans, and bird feeders and wherever else the opportunity to steal food exists.

A distinguishing feature of raccoons is the black “mask” on their faces and their bushy, ringed tail. Raccoon fur is normally gray, but it can also have a brown tint to it. The typical weight of raccoons varies according to their locations, normally ranging from 10 to 25 pounds, with larger raccoons in the North and smaller ones in the South. Natural predators of raccoons include wolves, coyotes, and owls. Humans also prey on raccoons, primarily for their fur.

Because raccoons are excellent climbers, they are often able to get into the attics of our homes, where they can cause extensive damage. Pet food left out is often what draws raccoons to a home to begin with. Raccoons have very nimble hands and they can often be found grasping pet food with both hands and dipping it into the water bowl before eating it.

Raccoon control is not something for the do-it-yourselfer. By knowing the biology, habits and patterns of raccoons, Wildlife Professionals are better prepared and trained to remove the animal for you. We offer a quality raccoon removal service.

If you had 13 babies in your pouch, you would be lying down and resting too!

We recently removed this Opossum from a home in The Woodlands Texas and were surprised to see the young this small in August! These little guys will have a harder time making it through the winter, but with the less harsh winters in Texas, they may be just fine.

Houston Wild Hog Control

Wild Hogs have invaded many Houston neighborhoods as well as The Woodlands. These voracious predators can make your lawn look like a steam shovel ran through it!

Wild Hogs or Wild Boars as some people call them are primarily nocturnal. So when they are busy tearing up your lawn, you won't even realize it as you sleep the night away. Wild Pigs have litters year round and their numbers in the South continue to increase and their range expands every year.

If you notice something tearing up your lawn and the damage looks like the grass has been rooted up, you could have a Wild Hog infestation. Consult our Professional Wild Hog Trapper in Houston at A All Animal Control of North Houston.
